Overall, the planetary gearsets for automation technology can be used in a variety of applications, particularly in cases where highly dynamic and precise positioning is necessary. Our servo gearboxes are specifically designed to work in a highly precise manner, with great dynamics, and guarantee exact and accurate reproducibility. The combination of servo motors with our planetary gearboxes creates a coaxial drive unit that features a sun gear, planetary gears, and an internal ring gear. Since the power is distributed to three planetary gears, the forces are distributed evenly, which allows for a very compact design with high power density. In addition, our servogearboxes are capable of target output torques of 25 to 3,000 Nm, depending on the model size.

Our servogearboxes feature a wide range of sizes and use a modular system that allows for application in almost any field of automation. They can be used in a variety of industries, including automotive and industrial sectors, and are particularly useful for packaging and shaping technology, as well as machines and facilities in general.

In terms of technical specifications, our servo gearboxes feature a robust output shaft shoulder that allows for the highest possible axial loads, as well as high radial forces and extreme tilt resistance through large-dimensioned taper roller bearings. They also feature high positional accuracy achieved through the use of ground and highly accurate gears, and high quality Viton shaft seals that ensure permanent and safe sealing.

Other key features of our servo gearboxes include high torsional rigidity, low running noise thanks to an optimized gear tooth shape, compact design by using separated output bearings, a special galvanic surface treatment that makes the housing environmentally resistant even under the most adverse conditions, hermetically sealed housing through the use of robust sealed screws, and a special surface treatment of the ring gear that optimizes the lubrication supply of the teething. Finally, our servo gearboxes are designed for backlash-free power transmission through the use of clamping couplings for motor shaft connections.
